Eumenidiesthis is the chant, scatter of wits, frenzy and fear, hurting the heart, song of the Furies, binding brain and blighting blood in its stringless melody...

4 more years!

Last night we saw "Sunday in the Park with George."

I am not a complete fan of Sondheim's music...more like a 60% fan. Some of it I like; some I find annoying.  This was the case with "Sunday." Except, the staging and projections supersede the annoying songs. It's breathtaking. Painting with projections....and it works! The middle bits were nice enough, but the beginning and the end were my favorite moments - as he begins to paint and then when the canvas returns to white. Just so lovely.

Yesterday was our anniversary. Four years. What struck me the other day was that we've lived in NY almost half our marriage....so almost the same length of time that we lived in Norfolk together. How strange.

I don't know anything at all about Sunday in the Park with George. I did read a book once about auditioning that said you should never pad your resume because this one idiot said that he played the role of George when, apparently there is no George really. Was there no George? Am I remembering right? Maybe I'm thinking Harvey.

Ok, so that was the most boring comment in the history of the world.

Happy Anniversary!
ryc: a Belgian ale. He bought some special hops mixture from a local homebrew fan club. We'll see how it turns out.
